Curmudgeon
I am officially a curmudgeon.
The things I used to get joy from, the things I used to be able to have fun with, and the things that I used to be able to just let be, no longer hold anything.
It's so weird.
In reality, I had every intention of closing everything up and ending it all when my father passed away. While I didn't have a 'plan' to do anything, it's been in my line-up for years. Things have been swirling for a long time, and ever faster in the last 5 years. But when my father died a couple months ago I just kind of went even more blank.
While I am excited about going back to work in northern Minnesota, there is a swarm of factors that even make that odd. I just don't know anymore. I feel like I think too much when I shouldn't and don't think enough when I should. All the more I feel like everything I learned went out the window years ago and nothing makes sense anymore. And now we have all this hullabaloo with Corvid-19 and the continuing saga of Trumplethinskin. I just feel like we're all doomed.
Meh. It culminates soon enough.
