Monsoon

The monsoon season has basically started now, though it's currently dry.  I don't think it will stay that way for long.  I am supposed to head out to Imja to say hello / goodbye to whomever I might see out there (and to get one last glimpse of the place that mentally tormented me for a year).

It's odd how some thing / some place that you despised so completely has hooks in your psyche, and not just in a negative way.  I guess partly it's that I love Korea, for all the little things that drive me crazy.  Back home in the states there is plenty of that as well.

School schedules changed again today, drastically.  I even had a class come in during 3rd period that my co-teacher didn't know about.  She was shocked when I told her that I'd already met with them.  The whole schedule thing here at this school is just a joke.  There is nothing consistent except the inconsistency.  As much as I will miss the students here, I really can't wait to be done with this particular school.

If it's not raining, I will go for another quick walk tonight.  Last night I went up the hill.  It was difficult; need to do laundry after that one.
