비밀이 누설되다 The Cat Is Out of the Bag
So my main co-teacher texted me on the phone about re-signing for another year or not. I was just beginning my online lesson so I couldn't do much, but when I finished, I went back over to the teacher's room. She wasn't there and had been gone all day, but returned shortly there after.
She then pressed me for an answer and I just came right out and said I would like a transfer. She seemed to take it as a matter of fact and didn't seem shocked...I guess who would? I think she would leave at the first chance as well.
Telling my elementary kids is going to be a very hard thing to do. I will probably be much more sad than they, as they are probably used to people coming and going. I just know I am going to miss them a lot at both schools.
Since the 3 'trouble makers' became middle school students, life at both the elementary schools became great. Or should I say, the one school where those three were became just as great as the other school...almost. The one small school is simply something special. I wish I could take all those kids with me where ever I go.
So now it begins. I am 3 months and 1 day from moving. (If they let me transfer - she seemed to think it was a non-issue when I told her that they had to "grade me" before I could move, but just continued to ask to make sure I wanted to leave.
If I could get a public school in Jangseong or Naju, I would be elated. High School would be awesome, but I would take anything...I just want it to be one school...or at the very least, one set of levels...not everything. We'll see what shakes out.
