Walking Through the Pain

I walked a solid 6 miles today with my camera.  My knee now feels like it's locking up again.  I'm not really happy about that.  My feet at about the 5 mile mark began to feel it as well, though they feel much better now.

I did get some nice photos, I think.  And I hope to go back next weekend and see some of my students as they train with their horses.  They're fun students and it's nice seeing them dedicate themselves to something other than sitting behind a desk, which is so prevalent in South Korean schools.  Students waste so much time "studying".  I don't know how they do it.  And I am shocked (maybe not), that someone in the government came up with this as an education plan.  So many Koreans I know realize the idiocy of it, having students in school until 9, 10, and 11 at night, yet it continues.  Ultimately, they have nowhere for the students to go if they're not in school, and certainly no part time jobs available.  It's completely different than in the U.S., though not to say that it's all bad.  I wish I and the present day students I encountered in the U.S. had this kind of dedication to study.

Oh well, here's some of the photos.  Enjoy.
