Volume

The sheer volume of crap on Korean classroom computers positively boggles the mind.  Actually, it negatively boggles the mind.  The odd thing is, I see Koreans just sit patiently while each morning, the worthless applications boot up, update, or scan.  The programs do NOTHING, and the teachers don't seem to use them, (other than the uber-intrusive messenger system that rings in mid lesson because someone brought dates and dried persimmons to the teachers room and felt the need to message everyone about it.) And yet they continue to install this crap.  I really used to love being here, and now I am beginning to wonder why.  It's amazing how different the experience is compared to the first 3 years I spent in Korea.   Little by little I feel like I am losing my mind.  Maybe I have become a malcontent and just need to be ended.
