What Is It Good For?

I'm on my last one.  I went to my middle school early today to print out some things for my classes at the elementary just around the corner.  The printer is broken.  Again.

Today, the middle school and high school have their festival.  During the day.  When I am teaching somewhere else.  So I don't get to see any of my students be creative.
I missed my elementary schools' festivals because I was teaching in the middle school.  Now I will miss the middle school and high school festival because I am teaching in the elementary schools.

This experience is wholly and undeniably lacking every single thing I liked about my previous experience in Korea.  I am sad because I pretty much despise every single thing here now because no matter how hard I try, I am pushed out by some karmic force.  It's amazing.

Before, the teachers seemed part of a large community.  Whether they did things together or not, it never seemed forced.  Here, it's like they're held hostage.  I feel no sense of community, of working together.

I feel like I am part of nothing.

Absolutely nothing.
